Lublin to host the 18th European Futsal Championship for Priests.
From February 9 to 13, 2026, Lublin will host the 18th European Futsal Championship for Priests. The event will bring together 18 priest national teams from various European countries, who will come to Poland to build fraternal bonds through sport, prayer, and fellowship, and to bear witness to the joy that flows from the priestly vocation.
The championship will be inaugurated on Monday, February 9 at 7:00 p.m. with a solemn Holy Mass at the Lublin Archcathedral, presided over by Archbishop Stanisław Budzik, Metropolitan Archbishop of Lublin.
On Tuesday, February 10 at 9:30 a.m., the group stage matches and Round of 16 games will begin at four sports halls of Lublin universities: the Medical University of Lublin, the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, the Lublin University of Technology, and the University of Life Sciences in Lublin.
On Thursday, February 12, starting at 10:30 a.m. at the Sports and Entertainment Hall of the Medical University of Lublin, matches for places 17–5 will be played, followed by the semifinals, the third-place match, and the final of the 18th European Futsal Championship for Priests. After the matches conclude, the medal and trophy ceremony will take place.
The Partner of the Event is the Lubelskie Voivodeship – the Marshal’s Office of the Lubelskie Voivodeship in Lublin.
